Apple isn’t expected to launch it’s much talked about augmented reality headset before 2023, Apple Insider reported. This has been predicted by noted Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo who is now proved right that Apple isn’t expected to launch its AR headset during the WWDC 2022 event. Kuo also added the reason the launch of the Apple headset has been pushed back from the original schedule is the sudden resurgence of the pandemic in China that led to prolonged periods of lockdown imposed in certain parts of the country.
Kuo has now stated that he believes the engineering validation and testing of the Apple AR headset to start from Q3 2022. A formal announcement can be expected in an Apple event scheduled in January 2023 while the SDK toolkit for developers can be expected to be made available by end-February 2023. All of this are to be followed up by the pre-order process which is expected to happen around the beginning of Q2, 2023 while the sale of the headsets could begin before WWDC 2023.
We sure will have more leaks and speculations in between. So, stay tuned.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in the world of technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles as well, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. Motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot and maybe I’ll make a film sometime in the future.
